Ivory is a Mastodon client for iPhone, iPad, and Mac from Tapbots, the team behind Tweetbot. It offers multiple timelines, timeline filters, post statistics, and position sync across devices.

Ivory is an app for reading and posting on Mastodon, the decentralized social network built on the ActivityPub protocol. It comes from Tapbots, the developers of the Tweetbot app for Twitter, and brings the same approach to design, sound, and animation to Mastodon.

You can create custom timelines by grouping people or hashtags into lists and switch between them, or view them side by side in columns. On iPad you get up to three columns and split-screen support, and on Mac up to six columns per window, multiple windows, and separate windows for posts and profiles. Your place in the timeline stays in sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Timeline filters let you show or hide posts by type, such as media only, and you can save your own filters. Mute filters cover users, keywords, and hashtags, temporarily or forever, and support regular expressions. A Statistics tab shows your post activity and engagement. Other features include multiple accounts, polls, content warnings, GIF search, bookmarks, customizable push notifications, picture-in-picture video, widgets, Shortcuts, and read-later services such as Instapaper, Pocket, and Readwise.

Accessibility features include VoiceOver support, high-contrast themes, adjustable text sizes, and an alt-text reminder for media. Tapbots says Ivory does not store personal data on its servers and does not track what you do in the app. There are over 20 app icons and 11 theme colors.
