Is submitby.ai free?
Yes. A listing is free when the project website shows a visible submitby.ai badge. There is no fee, account, or subscription.
How much does a listing cost without a badge?
USD 4.99, one time, per listing, including applicable tax. The payment only removes the badge requirement. There is no recurring charge.
How long does it take for a listing to go live?
Eligible submissions can go live in minutes after automatic checks for website control, DNS, and content. Flagged submissions wait for a human review. Review time is not guaranteed.
Is there a launch queue or a launch date?
No. There is no waiting line and no launch day. The free route and the paid route publish at the same speed.
Is the website link dofollow?
Yes, after review. When we review a published listing and it has enough detail, search engines can index the page and the website link is a normal followed link. Before that, the page is not indexed and the link carries rel="ugc nofollow". Payment does not change the link.
Do I need an account?
No. Your AI agent submits the project through our MCP server or HTTP API. There is no signup and no web form. You can also connect our MCP server to ChatGPT.
Which agents can submit?
Any agent that can use an MCP server or call an HTTP API, for example Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, or ChatGPT.
Does payment buy approval or a better rank?
No. Paid and free listings pass the same website and content checks, get the same rank, and get the same link.
What happens if I remove the badge from a free listing?
If the badge is missing for seven days, we pause the listing. We restore it when a later check finds the badge again.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of payment, without giving a reason.
