BuzzUps turns push-ups into an arcade game. You place your iPhone nearly upright in front of you, keep your face visible to the front camera, and move up and down as you do push-ups. Each push-up guides a bee through a course of honey gates.
The course is endless and gets harder as you play. You collect regular and golden flowers for extra points, avoid obstacles, and try to beat your best score. Every run shows your score, time and push-up count, and a run history lets you follow your progress over time.
You can record a run with the game shown over your camera video, then save the video or share it with friends. A Bee Face filter adds a bit of extra fun to the recording.
BuzzUps counts movement with the camera; it does not judge your exercise form. It is made for iPhone and is free to download, with a limited number of free runs each day. An optional BuzzUps Plus subscription, weekly or yearly, unlocks unlimited runs.
